The HBS Institutional Memory site invites users to submit content, including videos, audio files, photographs, and text narratives to add to our collective memory about the School and its community members. This content is moderated and uploaded to the site at the discretion of our staff. We reserve the right to also use this content in other media. A login is required to upload content.
HBS Institutional Memory evaluates site usage by analyzing user information and demographics, but only in aggregate, and, unless required by legal process, does not use any method of analysis that would allow individual identification.
Our staff occasionally monitors search terms that users enter into the Harvard Search Engine but this tracking is never associated with individual users.
A cookie is a tool used by HBS Institutional Memory to deliver customizable and personalized services and information. The cookie consists of a small data file that is written to a user's hard drive that contains information, such as User ID, that allows us to track which pages a user has already visited. HBS Institutional Memory may also use cookies to anonymously track session information, such as pages visited or duration of visit, which will help us continue to improve our format and content.
HBS Institutional Memory is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of any websites to which it may link.
